Its huge, heart-shaped leaves are thick and very slug resistant.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe leaf stalks rise upright and hold the leaves level before they cascade outward, building a graceful mound about 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide. In midsummer, light lavender flowers stand high above on 4-foot stems. It makes a strong focal point in a shaded bed.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eWhat it looks like\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eA large, cascading mound about 36 inches tall and 48 inches wide of gigantic, heart-shaped, heavy-textured leaves in blue-green. Upright leaf stalks hold the leaves horizontally, and the outer leaves spill downward, forming a layered dome. In midsummer, stems about 48 inches tall carry light lavender bell flowers well above the foliage.
