Leaves are small, round to oval, and thick, in a range of colors: powdery blue-green, solid green, bright gold, and green or blue edged in cream. Several have rounded mouse-ear shaped leaves. In early to midsummer, short scapes about 16 to 20 inches tall carry small lavender or near-white bell flowers.
