Flowers sit singly at the tips of stiff, branched green stems held just above the foliage. Leaves are medium green, lance-shaped and coarse-textured, forming a basal clump. The plant is an upright, well-branched clump 18 to 24 inches tall and 12 to 16 inches wide.
