Leaves are lance-shaped, 2 to 4 inches long, medium green and smooth, forming a dense base. Flowers are large, about 2.5 to 3 inches across, on upright stems, with broad sunny yellow petals that have toothed tips and a dark red band at the base around a small dark gold center.
