Lavender flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer. Leaves arch and curl outward, forming a large, loose mound about 22 inches tall and 48 to 54 inches wide. In midsummer, scapes 17 to 36 inches tall carry lavender trumpet flowers above the foliage. The overall texture is fine and swirling.
