Caramel Apple Nachos with Honey Lavender Drizzle

All the fun of a caramel apple with none of the sticky faces or wobbly teeth. Fan out crisp apple slices, drizzle on warm caramel and honey, then shower everything with crumbled shortbread. It's the after-school snack that gets eaten before the backpacks hit the floor.

Why this pairing works

Tart apples cut through sweet caramel, and a thin drizzle of lavender honey adds a floral note that makes the whole plate taste special. Buttery shortbread crumbs play the part of the crunchy topping.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Soak the apple slices in the lemon water for 3 minutes so they stay bright, then pat dry.
  2. Fan the slices out on a platter, overlapping them like tortilla chips.
  3. Drizzle with the warm caramel, then the peanut butter, then the honey.
  4. Scatter the shortbread crumbs and chocolate chips over the top and finish with a pinch of Lavender Sugar. Serve right away.

Serve it with: Lavender Honey Sticks (Green Apple)
