Choosing paper, shapes and finishes
Paper weight
- 14 pt — like a sturdy postcard. Writable, great for names.
- 16 pt — thick and coated with rich color. Our most popular tag.
- 17 pt — extra thick and writable. Feels premium in the hand.
Paper color
- Bright white — cleanest colors and photos.
- Natural cream — soft, classic and farmhouse.
- Brown kraft — rustic; dark inks look best.
- Blank white — no printing, for handwriting.
Finishes
- Matte — soft, no glare, easy to read.
- Gloss — bright and shiny.
- Foil — real gold, silver or copper on the parts you choose.
- Raised gloss — clear shine you can feel.

Good to know
Is the preview exactly what I will get?
It is a close sketch drawn at your real size. Colors on screens vary, and we prepare the print file from your design. You approve a proof before anything is printed.
What file should I upload for my logo?
A vector file (SVG, PDF, AI or EPS) is best. A PNG with a see-through background also works well. The studio shows a print-quality rating as you resize your logo: aim for “Great”.
Are the fonts OK for my business to use?
Yes. Every font in the studio is free for commercial printing (open font licenses), so you can use them on products you sell.
Is there a minimum?
Custom labels are made in sets of 12, starting at 12. Bigger orders lower the price per piece.
What does the price include?
Your total includes the products, your printed labels or tags, one-time setup and a free digital proof. Shipping and tax are added at checkout. Foil and specialty upgrades are confirmed on your proof.
Do I have to pay for a proof?
No. Proofs are always free — we email you a digital proof. If you’re confident in your design you can skip the proof and we print it as designed — our team still checks every file before printing.
What happens after I pay?
A person at the farm reviews your artwork. If anything needs fixing we contact you first. If we can’t make your design, we refund you in full. Proofs not approved within 15 days are cancelled and refunded.
How does stamping work?
For stamped kraft wraps we order a wood-handle rubber stamp made from your logo. You buy the stamp once — it’s yours to keep, and we use it for every re-order.
Can I save my design and come back?
Yes. The studio saves your work on this device as you go. Your uploaded file is not stored until you send the request, so you may need to choose it again.
