What happened?

Good records, better fields

Three habits that pay off

Log losses right away

Note the count and a likely cause. Patterns — a wet corner, a hungry deer path — show up fast.

Count every bundle

Harvest totals by block tell you which cultivars earn their space, year after year.

Back up each season

Download a backup after planting and after harvest. It keeps your records safe if this browser is cleared.

Field record questions

Where are my records stored?

In this web browser, on this device. Nothing is sent to the farm. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, your records will not follow — so download a backup (JSON) now and then.

How do I move my records to another computer?

Choose Export & backup → Download backup. On the other device, open this page and choose Restore from backup.

How is survival worked out?

Survival is plants in the ground now divided by all plants you have planted in that block. Plants in the ground = plants planted + later plantings − logged losses.

Where do the task reminders come from?

From a simple set of seasonal rules for lavender plus your own records — for example, a new block with no watering logged this week. They are reminders, not a diagnosis. For a plant problem, use the Plant Health Checker.

What if some plants arrived damaged?

Report qualifying arrival problems within 24 hours of delivery, with photos, through Returns & Claims. Commercial claims are evaluated by the number of affected plants.

Filling gaps or adding a block?
