Overview
The optional farm Sabbath is off by default. In the Prayer Barn header you can choose Off, Saturday or Sunday. The game describes it as an optional rest practice, not a spiritual requirement or a measure of faith (it cites Colossians 2:16–17).
What happens on your Sabbath day
- The day you picked is the farm's own weekday in Farm Time, not your real calendar.
- Manual farm work is paused. If you try an activity, the game says Sabbath protection is active and that no work, time, XP or consequences were applied.
- Advancing the week directly is paused.
- The farm clock pauses with the reason “Optional farm Sabbath.”
- End Day still works. It moves you to the next morning as a “Sabbath rest,” with no XP and no penalties.
- Work done by staff or automation is not affected.
Steps
- Open Explore → Prayer Barn.
- Find Optional farm Sabbath in the header card.
- Choose Saturday or Sunday (or Off to turn it back off).
Tips
- If a tool suddenly seems blocked, check whether today is your Sabbath day, then use End Day to move on.
