Lavender Circuit

Overview

Lavender Circuit has its own card at the top of the Farm Arcade lobby (“Board game · 1 to 4 players”). You can play alone against three computer farms, or with up to four people on one screen, passing the device each turn. Computer farms fill any empty seats. A game in progress is saved with your farm, so you can resume it later, and the same saved game can be played on the 3D board in the Learning Center.

How to play

1. Pick your token: Huckleberry, Finnegan, Barn Cat or Farm Truck.
2. Choose a season length (see the table) and start the season.
3. Roll the purple dice and move around the board. Passing Harvest Day pays 200.
4. Claim the cultivars you land on. When rivals land on your fields, they pay you rent.
5. Complete a region (all squares of one color) to double its rent and plant rows: four rows, then a greenhouse.
6. The farm with the highest farm value (cash + fields + rows) after the last round wins.

Season lengths

The board

• 8 growing regions: Backyard Beds, Great Lakes, Sequim Valley, Mountain Meadows, Provence Fields, California Coast, Heat & Humidity and Oil Estates.
• Market roads (such as the Farmers Market) pay more the more of them you own: 25, 50, 100, 200.
• The Copper Still and Drying Barn charge 4× the dice roll, or 10× if one player owns both.
• Weather and Co-op cards bring surprises and real growing tips.
• Late Frost! sends you to Frost Delay. Roll doubles, pay 50, or use a Row covers card to get out.
• Fees go into the Picnic Pavilion jar. Land there to collect it all.
• Three rival farms: Pollinator Prairie, Essential Fields and Market Meadow.

Rewards for your real farm

Full rewards are paid for your first game each farm week. Replays that week pay a quarter of the XP (at least 2) and no coins. With several people playing, the farm earns what the best-placed person earned. Your Records page counts Circuit games and keeps your best score, and winning a game earns the Records milestone Circuit steward.
