Why this pairing works

A spoonful of honey balances the tangy yogurt and lemon, and a couple of twists of lavender add a fresh, herbal lift that makes plain chicken salad taste new again.

Directions

  1. Whisk the yogurt, honey, lemon zest and juice in a large bowl.
  2. Season with Garlic Pepper, salt and 2 twists of the lavender grinder.
  3. Fold in the chicken, grapes, celery and almonds.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning, then spoon into lettuce cups.

Serve it with: Lavender Honey Sticks (Lemon)

Make it your own

  • Pile it on a croissant for a shower luncheon.
  • Swap the grapes for diced green apple and add a handful of dried cranberries.
