Using each piece
- The candle: on the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the vessel before blowing it out. Trim the wick to about a quarter inch each time, never leave it burning unattended, and keep it away from drafts, pets, little hands and the tree.
- The body butter: a little goes a long way. Warm a small amount between your fingers and smooth it into dry spots, especially after a shower or hand washing, when skin feels tight.
- The wax melts: break off a cube or two and place it in a wax warmer. When the scent fades, swap in fresh wax. Melts are a nice choice for rooms where an open flame is not practical.

Storing and care
Keep the candle and wax melts in a cool, dry place out of direct sun so the wax keeps its shape and scent. Store the body butter at room temperature with the lid closed; in a warm room it may soften, and in a cold one it firms up, which is normal for a butter. Check each label for ingredients and directions.
