Lavender Lake Michigan Dish Soap: Big Lake Energy at the Sink
Save
On this page
Our farm in Rockford sits less than an hour from the Lake Michigan shore, so this one is our home lake. Lavender Lake Michigan Dish Soap pairs fresh lavender with a clean, breezy, lake-inspired scent that brings a little Big Lake energy to the kitchen sink. Doing dishes still is not a day at the beach, but it smells a bit more like one.
Quick answer: Add a small squirt to warm water or directly to a sponge for everyday plates, pots and utensils. Keep the 16 oz bottle out by the sink and use the 24 oz refill to top it off.
The Lake Michigan scent
Clean and breezy, like a west wind coming off the water on a summer afternoon, with lavender softening the edges. It is part of our Great Lakes scent line, and if you already love it on our foaming hand soap, the dish soap lets the kitchen sink match.
The everyday routine
- Small loads: one drop on a wet sponge handles a few cups, a cutting board or a lunch container.
- Big loads: a small squirt in a sink of warm water, then wash from cleanest to greasiest, glasses first and pans last.
- Tough spots: let them soak in warm, soapy water before scrubbing.
- Rinse well so dishes dry clear.
Sponge care, briefly
The sponge is the hardest-working, least-appreciated tool by the sink. Rinse it well after each use, squeeze it out and let it dry upright or on a rack rather than in a puddle. Replace it regularly; when it starts to smell, it is overdue.
