A good spray works best with a good cloth. Microfiber is the workhorse for most surfaces, and it lasts for years with a little care:
- Wash microfiber separately from cotton towels, which shed lint into it.
- Skip fabric softener and dryer sheets, which coat the fibers and cause streaks.
- Air dry or tumble on low heat.
- Keep separate cloths for the kitchen and the bathroom. Color coding helps.

Yes. Spraying the cloth works well for vertical surfaces, small spots and areas near electronics.
