Lavender Vanilla Wax Melts: The Best Place to Start With Melts

On this page
Our Lavender Vanilla Wax Melts are the scent we reach for at the end of a long day on the farm: soft, sweet and a little like a warm hug. Lavender and creamy vanilla make a mellow, comforting blend that suits every season and every room. If you are new to our scents, or new to wax melts entirely, this is a wonderful place to start.
Quick answer: Drop a cube or two from the 2.75 oz bar into any standard wax warmer. The wax melts and releases its scent with no flame on the wax itself, and you can swap scents whenever the mood changes.
Wax melts in one minute
A wax melt is scented wax with no wick. Instead of burning it, you warm it gently in a wax warmer, either an electric warmer with a heating plate or bulb, or a tealight warmer with a small candle underneath. As the wax melts, it releases fragrance. When the scent is used up, you remove the wax and add a fresh cube. That is the whole hobby.
Your first melt, step by step
- Place the warmer on a flat, heat-safe surface away from curtains, pets and kids.
- Snap one cube off the bar and set it in the dry dish. No water.
- Turn the warmer on or light the tealight and give it a little while to melt.
- Add a second cube if you want more scent in a larger room.
- When the fragrance fades, turn the warmer off, let it harden and pop the disc out.
Where it fits
| Room | Why Vanilla works |
|---|---|
| Bedroom or reading nook | Soft enough to enjoy at close range |
| Living room | Still noticeable when you walk in |
| Guest bath | A welcoming touch that does not compete with soap |
Making a bar last
Each bar breaks into cubes, and one cube can scent a room over several evenings before it fades, depending on your warmer. Keep the rest of the bar in its package in a cool, dark cupboard so it stays fresh. Vanilla is also a great mixer: add a cube to a fruity or spicy scent to soften it.
An easy gift
A warmer and a bar of Lavender Vanilla is a thoughtful starter set for someone who loves fragrance but does not want an open flame. Add it to a box in the Gift Box Builder.
Frequently asked questions
Do wax melts work without a warmer?
No. They need gentle, steady heat from a warmer made for wax melts. Do not melt them on a stove or in a microwave.
Can I reuse the wax?
Yes, until the scent runs out. Once the room no longer smells like vanilla, the wax is done.
