On this page
The Lavender Winter Wonderland Bar Soap is a rosy purple 5 oz bar that smells like fresh snow and lavender. Once it starts to lather, cool peppermint and soft lavender fill the whole room, which makes it a nice little bit of winter for the shower, the kitchen sink or the guest bath.
Quick answer: A seasonal 5 oz lavender and peppermint bar for hands and body. Keep it on a draining soap dish between uses so it lasts, and use Notify Me on the product page when it is out of season.
The look and the scent
The color is part of the charm: a rosy purple that looks cheerful next to a white sink in the gray months. The scent is the same lavender and peppermint pairing found across our Winter Wonderland line, cool and fresh up front with soft lavender underneath.
Making a bar last longer
A good bar soap can last a surprisingly long time if it is allowed to dry out between uses. The enemy is standing water.
- Use a draining dish. Slats or ridges let water run off so the bottom does not turn soft.
- Keep it out of the spray. Set it where the shower does not hit it directly.
- Cut it in half. A smaller piece in use means the rest stays firm and dry until needed.
- Store spares somewhere dry. A drawer or linen closet keeps extra bars ready, and they lightly scent the shelf while they wait.
Where it fits
Use it as a hand soap at the kitchen sink, a body bar in the shower or a guest-bath soap when company comes for the holidays. For a matching routine, pair it with Winter Wonderland shampoo and body wash or hand and body lotion.
Gifting and seasonal timing
Nobody ever says no to good soap. Wrap a bar in ribbon or twine for a teacher, neighbor or stocking, or add it to a box in the Gift Box Builder. It is also one of the four pieces in our Winter Wonderland gift set.
Winter Wonderland is a seasonal scent. When it is out of season, use Notify Me on the product page, or choose a year-round bar from the all-scents listing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use it on my face?
It is made as a hand and body bar. If you want to try it on your face, test a small area first and follow the label.
Why did my soap get soft?
It was probably sitting in water. Move it to a draining dish and let it dry between uses; it will firm back up.
Does the color transfer?
The lather rinses away with water. Rinse the soap dish now and then to keep it tidy.
