No questions yet. Ask one and Agape Farm South can answer it here.
Agape Farm South is a young lavender and medicinal herb farm in Dillon County, in South Carolina's Pee Dee region, about 15 minutes from both I-95 and US 501. The land was once farmed in rotations of corn, soy and cotton. Lavender is started from cuttings or seed at the family's sister farm in North Carolina and then moved to the South Carolina fields. After about three years of work, the farm had a limited first harvest in spring 2025 and its first full harvest in spring 2026.
The farm is not open for drop-in visits; for now it opens by private invitation and for ticketed events. Fiddlin' on the Farm, a spring bluegrass gathering with music, storytelling and food, was held on March 21, 2026. Other farmstead experiences have included a June Herbs, Blends and Bouquets day with tea blending, bouquet arranging and lavender lemonade, and a small-group botanical bitters workshop. The fields have also been used for photo sessions during the spring bloom.
The lavender becomes small-batch products sold under the farm's own lab brand: sleep sprays, bug repellents, aromatherapy blends for stress and skin-soothing products. You can find the farm at local markets, including the Dillon Farmers Market. Beehives from a local beekeeper also live on the property.
