Levanduľové Kráľovstvo, the Lavender Kingdom, is a lavender field in Streda nad Bodrogom in Slovakia's Tokaj wine region, in the far southeast of the country. It is reachable by car, with parking on site. The field grows lavender in purple, pink and white, and visitors can rest on loungers and benches set among the rows.
The field is open seasonally from May to September, and the best time to come is June and July, when the lavender peaks. You can walk the rows, cut lavender for your own use or decoration, or buy ready-made bouquets. In 2024, self-picked lavender cost €10 per kilo, and entry was €1.70 for adults and €1.20 for under-18s, with free entry for children under 10 and visitors with severe disabilities. Daily hours change through the season and are posted on their social pages.
The field is also popular for photography, including wedding and family shoots. The farm sells lavender essential oils, teas, syrups, sachets and other handmade lavender items. Its location in the Tokaj region makes it an easy stop alongside a visit to the area's wine villages.
