Liberty Corn Maze has been family-owned and run since 2004 in Liberty, on the north side of the Kansas City area. The 2026 maze is an all-new design celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States, and alongside the corn there are rope and soybean mazes for anyone who wants another round.
The maze opens on weekends only, from mid-September through the end of October: Fridays 5 to 10 p.m., Saturdays noon to 10 p.m. and Sundays noon to 5 p.m. Evening visits are part of the fun, so bring a jacket; flashlights are sold on site. The trail can be muddy after rain, so wear boots or sturdy walking shoes.
Kids have plenty beyond the corn: silo slides, a grain bin zipline, spider swings, a jumping pillow, Tire Mountain and Little Shucks Adventure Town, plus giant Jenga, Connect Four, cornhole and other yard games. There is also a small history museum, a new bandstand and a country store, and kampfire sites can be rented for an evening from 7 to 10 p.m. A combo ticket adds Carolyn's Pumpkin Patch. Large groups should book a week ahead, and groups of 20 or more that book get $2 off each ticket.
Blossoms and Bees, a lavender farm near Chillicothe, is the nearest on our list, roughly an hour and 15 minutes northeast. Check that farm's website for its open days, since the maze itself runs only in the fall.
