About Solace Lavender Farm

Solace Lavender Farm is a small family farm in the Central Valley about twenty miles west of Fresno, at the corner of North and Vineland avenues outside Kerman. The farm opens to the public only a few mornings a year, for its Community U-Pick Days, and the rest of the time it sells its lavender through an online shop and local markets.

In 2026 the U-pick ran on four Saturdays, May 23 and 30 and June 6 and 13, from 9 AM to noon. Entry and parking were free, no tickets were needed, and bundles cost $10 each, with no limit on how many you pick. Water is on hand, other lavender goods are for sale, and a local coffee cart served drinks. The farm also posts a care guide on their website for keeping a fresh bouquet looking good.

The field has no shade and is covered in large wood chips, which can be hard going for anyone with limited mobility. Bring a hat and sunscreen, wear closed-toe shoes, and carry any medication you need for bee stings; the bees are busy but not aggressive. Dogs are not allowed in the field. Casual photos are welcome, but professional shoots are booked separately, and photographers can rent the field outside U-pick days.

The shop sells culinary lavender, sachets, a signature lavender fragrance oil, and Provence, Grosso and Super lavender essential oils, along with a botanical mist and farm T-shirts. Fresno is about 30 minutes east for lunch or dinner after an early pick.
