No questions yet. Ask one and Sootsu Lavendel can answer it here.
Sootsu Lavendel is a family-run lavender field in Lääne-Harju Parish, west of Tallinn in northwestern Estonia, operated by the small company Sootsmann OÜ. The farm opened its fifth season in 2026. It grows English lavender, including 'Hidcote Blue', a compact variety with strongly scented blue-violet spikes that blooms from June into July.
The field opens to visitors for a short summer window. In 2026 it was open every day from July 1 to August 9, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with an entry fee of €5. Phone photos are free; bringing a camera for a photo session costs €50 an hour. The season ended on August 9 with a concert from 3 p.m., which needed its own ticket. The farm has since closed for the year, and it posts next season's dates on its website.
Guided field tours and private photo sessions can be booked; ask through the contact page on their website. The small shop at the field and the online shop sell the farm's lavender goods, and the events page lists concerts and other gatherings during the bloom.
The farm asks visitors to dress for the weather, bring spare footwear if needed, and not to rinse shoes in the fountain. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
