The Energy / Ready circle
The Farm Pulse circle shows (Energy + Readiness) ÷ 2. For a new farm that is 70%. It warns under 55% and turns critical under 30%. Tap it for the Energy improvement center, which ranks ways to recover.
Farm Life day jobs
Farm Life gives you 6 player hours each farm day. Each job uses hours, moves the clock and changes your needs:

Other ways needs change
- End day and recover (Farm Life): +24 Energy, +5 Morale, −3 Readiness, and starts tomorrow at 6:00 AM.
- Every farm week: −8 Energy and −4 Readiness.
- Farm Map buildings each week: Solar arrays add up to 10 Energy; roads, drains, compost, sensors, windbreaks, barns, parking, restrooms, cold storage, solar and shipping add up to 12 Readiness.
- Some decorations and farm buildings add a little Energy every day (for example a porch swing +5, a bench +3).
- In 3D, making supper for the crew in the Farmhouse kitchen gives +5 Energy.
- Staff and automation do jobs without using your Energy or time.
Tips
- When Energy drops to 10% or less, Huckleberry's next step tells you to rest in Farm Life.
- If any need falls under 25%, Farm Life warns that it is critically low.
