Overview
Essential oil comes from Lavandula angustifolia and other non-intermedia lavender. Lavandin oil comes only from Lavandula × intermedia flowers. Hydrosol is the fragrant water left after distilling.

What they become
- One essential oil makes one lip balm, candle, bar soap, body butter, hand cream or reed diffuser at the Product Studio (base values 46 to 78).
- Lavandin oil makes the Lavandin Bug Repellent (78).
- Hydrosol makes linen spray, room spray and pillow mist (18 to 20 hydrosol each) and the Hydrosol Refill at the Packing Bench.
Tips
- Cultivars with a high Oil rating need fewer flowers per oil and make more oil per run in Processing Works.
- A Maker's or Sierra's perk shortens still runs.
