Overview
Lavender Shortbread is a lavender cookie and one of the farm kitchen's first recipes. You can bake it two ways: as a home batch in the cottage kitchen (from Level 1, if your state's cottage food law covers baked goods) or as a Licensed Kitchen recipe in the Processing Barn (Level 4).
In the barn it takes 12 culinary lavender, 1 food packaging and 1 label per unit, and is ready in a week. A home batch uses only 6 culinary lavender and makes 1 unit.

Where it's used
- Processing Works: the Kitchen Processor's Lavender shortbread recipe turns 2 flour, 1 sugar and 1 culinary lavender into 3 Lavender Shortbread.
- 3D Farmhouse: the kitchen table has Bake lavender shortbread once a farm day just for the house (+6 XP). It does not add product to your shelf.
- Christmas: Santa bakes Lavender Shortbread Stars with you as one of his five holiday recipes.
- Farm Legacy café: the Shortbread Tasting menu item (added once for 62 coins) serves 3 Lavender Shortbread each time, up to 9 servings.
- Weekly Kitchen Challenge: it is one of the twelve foods in the weekly rotation.
Tips
- Shortbread is a baked good, and every state in the kitchen's list allows baked goods as cottage food, so it is a safe first home recipe.
- Flour & dry goods come from the Processing Barn supplier (12 for 32 coins).
