Nothing spoils while you're gone
The farm does not punish you for closing the game. Crops, animals, customers, weather, bills and farm weeks do not move or get worse while the game is closed. The farm clock only runs while the game is open and showing.
Passive production while away
- If Passive production while away is on in Farm Time Control (it is on by default), production queues advance one step for every 30 real minutes you were away, up to 13 steps.
- Breeding trials gain 4% lab analysis per step while you are away. Their multi-year field survival still only moves with farm seasons.
- When you return, Farm Time Control shows a While you were away note, which you can dismiss.
The daily farm report
The first time you open the game each real day, a Farm report card greets you: “Good morning, farmer” (or afternoon or evening), your farm, place, year and week, and six tiles: your visit streak, coins (and the change since your last visit), crop health, water security, Farm Scan flags and Energy/readiness. It also shows Today's first job and your trophy shelf.
If you were away for 3 hours or more, a While you were away list says how many farm days passed, coins in or out, products finished, plants lost and any level gained. Press ✨ Show me what to do to jump to your next step, or Start farming to close it.
Visit streak
Opening the game on back-to-back real days builds your visit streak; missing a day starts it over at 1.
Tips
- Brand-new growers are not shown the daily report on their very first visit, and returning growers see at most one information pop-up per visit.
- Returning the same day after a long break shows a short Welcome back banner instead of the full card.
