Allie Lavender Seeds - Lavandula angustifolia

Every lavender field starts with a single tiny seed. If you're dreaming of your own lavender patch, Allie is a lovely variety to try.

Allie is an English lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) with fragrant purple blooms on a tidy, mounding plant. Lavender seeds are known to be slow and irregular to germinate, so a little patience goes a long way. Cold stratification before sowing is a helpful tip many growers use, though results can vary from seed to seed.

• Size: 25 seeds
• Tip: cold stratify seeds for a few weeks in the fridge in a damp paper towel or moist mix
• Press seeds onto the surface of seed-starting mix; they need light to sprout
• Keep warm and lightly moist; some seeds sprout quickly, others take their time
