Honey Lavender Kettle Popcorn
On this page
Sweet, salty and a little bit floral. This kettle corn is our movie-night snack and market-day road trip treat. It's also a fun way to show friends that lavender belongs in the kitchen.

Why this pairing works
Salt and sugar together make each flavor taste stronger, and the lavender grinder adds a fresh floral note right at the end, when it's most noticeable.
Serves 4 Prep 5 min Cook 10 min
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 3 Tbsp coconut or vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp Lavender Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Lavender Wildflower Honey
- Lavender Salt Grinder, to taste
- Culinary Lavender Grinder, a few twists
Directions
- Line a sheet pan with parchment.
- Heat the oil and 3 kernels in a large pot over medium-high heat. When they pop, add the remaining kernels and the Lavender Sugar and stir.
- Cover and shake the pot constantly. When popping slows to 2 seconds between pops, pull it off the heat.
- Drizzle with the honey, toss, and spread on the sheet pan.
- Season with Lavender Salt and a few twists of the lavender grinder while it's hot. Cool 5 minutes to crisp.
Keep the pot moving the whole time. Sugar scorches in seconds if it sits still. Honey isn't safe for babies under 1 year old.
Make it your own
- Toss in pecans or pretzels.
- Bag it with a honey stick as a party favor.
