No fussy blend
Fields is lavender with nothing added to compete with it. On a freshly mopped floor, that means a clean, herbal scent that fills the room for a while and then fades into a light background note, instead of the sharp smell some floor cleaners leave behind.
Mopping smarter
The label tells you how to mix and use the cleaner. These general habits help any floor-cleaning day go faster:
- Sweep or vacuum first. A mop pushes grit around; it does not pick it up well.
- Start in the far corner and work toward the door so you do not walk across wet floor.
- Wring the mop well. A damp mop cleans better than a dripping one, and it is kinder to floors that do not like standing water.
- Change the water when it looks cloudy. Dirty water just spreads dirt.
- Let it dry before anyone, two-legged or four-legged, comes tearing through.

Can I use it on hardwood?
Test a small, hidden spot first and follow both the label and your flooring maker's care guidance. Wood floors generally do best with a well-wrung mop.
How strong is the scent after it dries?
Light. You will notice it while you mop and for a while after, and then it settles into a soft, clean background.
