Our Lavender Fields Glass Cleaner carries our signature Fields scent, pure, classic lavender, so cleaning a mirror leaves behind a soft floral note in place of that sharp, harsh smell. It is easy to keep under the sink or in a cleaning caddy for quick touch-ups.
Streak-free, step by step
- Pick a cool moment. Glass in direct, hot sun dries too fast and streaks. Do sunny windows in the morning or evening.
- Dust first on very dirty windows so you are not making mud.
- Spray lightly. More cleaner is not cleaner glass; it just takes longer to wipe.
- Wipe with a lint-free or microfiber cloth, then buff with a dry part of the cloth.
- Use direction as a clue: wipe one side of a window side to side and the other up and down, and you can tell which side a streak is on.

Caring for your cloths
Microfiber does most of the work on glass. Wash cloths without fabric softener, which coats the fibers and causes streaks, and let them air dry or tumble on low. Keep a couple set aside only for glass.

Why am I still getting streaks?
Usually it is too much spray, a dirty or softener-coated cloth, or glass drying too fast in the sun. Fix those three and most streaks disappear.
