Lavender Shower Spray: Let the Steam Do the Spreading

On this page
Our Lavender Shower Spray turns an ordinary shower into a small spa moment. Mist it on the shower wall away from the water, and the warm steam picks up the soft, herbal lavender scent and carries it all around you. It takes three seconds and makes a Tuesday morning feel a little less like a Tuesday morning.
Quick answer: Spritz the 4 oz spray a few times on the shower wall or floor, outside the direct water stream, then step in and let the steam do the work. It also works as a quick bathroom refresher.
How it works
Scent travels on warm, moist air. When you spray lavender onto a surface the shower is warming but not drenching, the steam lifts the fragrance gradually instead of rinsing it straight down the drain. That is the whole trick, and it is why placement matters more than how much you spray.
Getting the most from each spritz
- Aim high and to the side. A spot on the back or side wall, above shoulder height and out of the stream, holds the scent longest.
- Two or three sprays is usually plenty. More just rinses away faster.
- Spray after the water warms up so the steam is already rising.
- Mind your footing. If you mist the floor, keep it to a corner you do not stand on, since any spray can make tile a little slick.
Morning or evening?
| When | Why people like it |
|---|---|
| Morning shower | A clean, fresh start before a busy day |
| Evening shower | Many people find the smell of lavender relaxing as they wind down |
| No shower at all | A quick mist into the air freshens the bathroom between cleanings |
Storing it in a steamy room
A shower caddy is convenient, but a bottle that lives under hot water every day ages faster. Keep it on a shelf or vanity just outside the shower, capped and out of direct sun, and it will stay fresh longer.
The spa-night add-on
Shower spray is one of our favorite gift basket fillers. It is small, useful and feels like a little luxury for someone who never buys themselves anything fancy. Pair it with bath and body favorites in the Gift Box Builder.
Frequently asked questions
Do I spray it on my skin?
No. It is made for the shower walls and the air, not for your body. Spray the surface and let the steam carry the scent.
How long does the scent last in the shower?
It depends on how hot and steamy your shower runs. Hotter, steamier showers release the scent faster; a spot out of the water stream helps it last through the whole wash.
