About Bed & Breakfast on White Rock Creek
The Bed & Breakfast on White Rock Creek sits on 4 wooded acres along the creek on the north side of Waco, about 2.5 miles off I-35. Magnolia, pecan and oak trees shade the grounds, and there are creekside walking trails and a bench swing that looks over a pasture where cattle graze. The innkeepers, Dana and Retha, live on the property and say they have been hosting guests for more than 23 years.
Rooms are set up mainly for couples. Several suites have king beds, vaulted ceilings and jetted tubs, and the Garden Suite has a four-poster bed under a 16-foot ceiling. Each room has a private bath, and some have private decks. Guests must be older than 12, and the inn does not take pets, though service animals are welcome.
A full breakfast is part of the stay, served at 9 a.m. or earlier in the big great room of the main house, or brought to your room if you ask. Expect fruit, yogurt, granola, breads, bacon or sausage and eggs cooked to order, with vegetarian options on request. The inn is about 6 miles from the Silos at Magnolia Market, 5 miles from Baylor University and 3.5 miles from Homestead Heritage's craft village.
Twisted Root Lavender near McGregor is about 40 minutes southwest. Confirm visiting days with the farm before you go.
