About Deepdale Camping & Rooms

Deepdale Camping & Rooms sits on organic Deepdale Farm in the village of Burnham Deepdale, inside the North Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is open all year, including Christmas and New Year, and has earned a gold grade from the Green Tourism scheme; electricity on site is 100% renewable.

The campsite has 85 pitches spread over six grassy paddocks, for tents, trailer tents, campervans and motorhomes (caravans aren't allowed under the site's planning rules). There are serviced hard-standing pitches, 16-amp hook-ups, and green travel pitches for anyone arriving on foot, by bike or by bus. Shower blocks have underfloor heating, and there's laundry, drying space, free wifi and a camping shop that swaps gas bottles. Up to two dogs are allowed per pitch.

If you'd rather not camp, private double, twin, family and small-group rooms are in the converted Stables and Granary, with en-suite or shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen, dining room and lounge. The Granary can also be booked whole by groups of up to 16. The on-site visitor information center has local tips and tide times, bikes can be hired for the coast roads, and the site runs live music, theater and festival events. It's a quiet place: groups are capped at 10 people, and there's a strict no-noise rule after 10pm.

Norfolk Lavender at Caley Mill, Heacham, is about 20 minutes west along the coast road, so a summer stay here puts the lavender, the Norfolk Coast Path and more than twenty beaches within easy reach.
