About Heavenly Ridge Lavender Farm

Heavenly Ridge sits on more than 65 acres in Owen County, between Frankfort and northern Kentucky. Dwayne and Christine bought the land in 2020; he grew up on a cattle farm and she studied perfume, and both worked as chemists, experience they now put into the lavender products they make on site. The field holds more than 700 plants, and the old tobacco barn beside the road has been rebuilt with new floors, siding, plumbing and restrooms to house the farm shop and events.

The farm opens seasonally, with hours and event dates announced on its home page and social pages. During open hours you can walk the rows, take photos with your phone, and on some days pick your own lavender. Ticketed classes are listed on the events page. The 2026 season has ended, and the farm says it will welcome visitors again in 2027, with new lavender varieties planned.

Groups such as schools, churches and clubs can book a private educational lavender session or a distillation demonstration by email or phone, and small private gatherings are welcome. The barn shop sells lavender goods made on the farm and honey from its own hives. Dogs are allowed if you call ahead for approval; keep them leashed and clean up after them. The shop and restrooms are ADA accessible, but the rest of the property is a working farm with slopes and uneven ground.

Frankfort is about 40 minutes south, so a summer morning in the lavender can turn into an afternoon in the state capital.
