About Hermann Hill
Hermann Hill sits high above the Missouri River in its own Norton vineyard, a few minutes from downtown Hermann in Missouri wine country. Rooms are spread among the main boutique inn, the River Bluff Cottages and a newer set of condo units, and depending on the room you may get a private deck, a fireplace, a hot tub, a jetted tub or a steam shower, along with views over the river valley.
The inn is set up for couples and quiet getaways: every guest must be at least 18, and rooms hold two people. Gourmet breakfast can be delivered to your door, with dishes such as caramel pecan French toast, yogurt parfaits or build-your-own oatmeal. The Vineyard Spa offers massage, aromatherapy and foot treatments, and spa bookings follow the same cancellation terms as rooms.
Dogs of any size are welcome in designated pet-friendly rooms, including the River Bluff Cottage suites, for a $75 cleaning fee; let the front desk know ahead of time. Rooms are ready by 4 p.m. (cottage guests check in at the cottages between 4 and 6 p.m.), and check-out is at 11 a.m. The property is smoke-free and has electric-vehicle chargers. Under the policy in effect since August 2025, cancelling more than 10 days out returns 90% to your card or the full amount as a gift certificate.
Lavendel Dame, a small lavender farm just north of Hermann across the river, is about 20 minutes away. It sells mainly online and at Missouri markets, so check its website before planning a farm stop.
