About Laetitia Vineyards & Winery
Laetitia sits on a coastal estate in the Arroyo Grande Valley of San Luis Obispo County, with vineyard views that reach to the Pacific. The estate was founded in 1982 by the French Champagne house Maison Deutz, and that start still shapes the wine: the focus is small-lot Pinot Noir and sparkling wines made in the traditions of Burgundy and Champagne, with white wines on the list as well.
The tasting room is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm, so it fits a visit in any month. The Estate Tasting cost $30 per person in 2026 and is waived with a two-bottle purchase; a separate sparkling flight is also offered. Reservations are available and walk-ins are welcome. Outdoor seating lets you taste with the valley in front of you, and guided vineyard walks have been offered at times.
The estate keeps a busy calendar. In fall 2026 there were Saturday afternoons with live music, a food truck or baked goods, and a cellar sale in late October. Earlier events included a paint-and-sip night and a spring hike with a picnic. Groups of eight or more, or anyone with special requests, should contact the winery first. The Laetitia Estate House, with a pool, hot tub and fire pit overlooking the valley and ocean, is available as lodging.
The nearest lavender farm is Central Coast Lavender in Paso Robles, about 45 minutes north on Highway 101. Pair a morning at the lavender estate with an afternoon sparkling flight on the way back toward the coast.
