White Hills Farm is a lavender and herb farm in Dearing, west of Augusta, owned and worked by Amy and Patrick Sutter. The couple settled in the Evans area in 2002, spent years supporting local farmers and the local food movement, and bought this farm in April 2017. The property has a 100-year-old farmhouse, gardens and a red barn that holds the shop, workshops and events.
During lavender and herb season the farm holds open farm days every Friday and Saturday. The Farm Shoppe is open Fridays 10 to 6 and Saturdays 10 to 3, and by appointment. You can also book a farm tour with tea led by Amy through the contact page, and visitors are often offered lavender iced tea.
The shop mixes the farm's own goods, such as lavender bath salts and a lavender and chamomile bath tea, with cottage food items and products from local and organic farms. The barn hosts hands-on workshops; past sessions have included cookie making, lavender harvesting and arranging, and yoga. For the 2026 holidays, Wild Forage Wreath Making runs on November 29 and December 13 for $35, with participants gathering pine and greenery in the farm's woods.
