How it works
- Reach Level 8.
- Choose a seed parent and a pollen parent.
- Press Start multi-year seedling trial (180 coins). The trial starts with 60–139 seedlings and 65–84% winter survival.
- Each year, at the first week of spring, the trial ages one year and survival shifts.
- At trial year 3, press Select best seedling for +15 XP. You keep a selection named "GL trial (year)-(number)" with one trait: winter survival, compact habit, long stems, distinct flower color, high oil yield or repeat bloom.
Good to know
- A game cross does not create a real named cultivar or any legal protection.
- Retained selections appear in Farm Reports' cultivar trial report.
