Overview
The Next step reads your farm and picks one action. Its button switches to the right place, chooses the right tool and briefly highlights the plots it means.
The order it checks things
- No location yet: "Tell us where you grow" → Set my location.
- No Lavender Row yet and planting is closed: advance the week until planting opens.
- No Lavender Row yet: place your first row → Place a row.
- Plants ready to harvest: harvest them (cut when a third to half of the buds are open).
- Your energy is 10% or less: rest in Farm Life.
- Dry plants (under 35% moisture, not dormant, no hard freeze): water them.
- Weak plants (under 40% health) that are resting in winter: explains why, says not to water, and suggests your best-drained ground or Coarse grit next season.
- Other weak plants: inspect them.
- A hard freeze (28°F or colder) today: planting and watering wait; advance the week.
- Empty plots but planting is paused: advance the week.
- Empty plots but 28°F or colder this week: hold off planting until after the frost.
- Empty plots: plant them.
- Otherwise: your field is in good shape, advance the week.
