Overview
The field is a grid of 30 plots. Only open plots can be used. A plot can be open because it is part of the free starter row (plots 1–3) or because it is linked to a Lavender Row tile on the Farm Map.
How plots open
- Plots 1–3: always open.
- Each mapped Lavender Row links to the next three free plots (4–6, 7–9 and so on).
- Nine mapped rows plus the starter row open all 30 plots.
- A locked plot shows "Needs a map row"; tapping it explains how to open it, with an Open Farm Map button.
- If you clear a row tile, its three plots lock again (you must empty them first).
What a plot shows
- The plant painting at its current stage, its cultivar name and health and moisture bars.
- A "Y1", "Y2"… badge: the plant's year in the field (hover for crown health and yield records).
- A highlight when the Next step points at it.
Map rows and plots stay in sync
The row tile on the Farm Map shows the crop name (or "Mixed cultivars"), how many of its three plots are planted, the average health and the average stage. Layers on the row (Drip line, Frost cover, Soil sensor, Windbreak) apply to its three plots.
