Overview
Geocaches are weatherproof boxes hidden around the 3D world. They glow softly so you can find them: a slow pulse, brighter at dusk and at night, and off once found. As you get close, the game tells you warmer or colder. Open the box, ✍️ sign the logbook (your line is written for you, so there's nothing to type), take a trade item if you like, and 🫳 put it back as you found it (+2 XP).
Kinds of cache
| Kind | How it works |
|---|---|
| 📦 Traditional | Walk to it and open it. |
| 🔗 Multi-stage | Each stage gives the clue to the next. The last stage of “The Long Way Round” is in Market Square. The final stage pays double. |
| 🧩 Puzzle | Answer a lavender question to learn the spot. Pays 40% more. |
| 🌙 Night cache | Only shows after dark. Follow the glowing reflectors. Pays 40% more. |
| 🌍 Earth spot | No box: answer a question about the place. |
| 🍂 Seasonal and 🎉 holiday caches | A fall pumpkin-patch stash, a winter tin, and a holiday meetup cache in December. |
| ⭐ Sponsor caches and 🏡 farm hides | Hidden by sponsor farms and by other players on their farms. |
Where caches are
- Your farm: three landmarks that never move (by the dock, by the barn and at the end of the drive), a weekly set (a multi-stage, a puzzle, a night cache, one in the woods and an earth spot), plus two new caches every farm day.
- Market Square: two caches that change each week, and the last stage of the weekly multi-stage.
- Farms you visit: two caches on every farm, plus any the owner or sponsor hid. Your first find on a new farm adds its cache stamp (+15 XP).
Rewards
Each find pays 6 + 5 × (difficulty + terrain) coins and 4 + 3 × (difficulty + terrain) XP. Being first to find a sponsor's cache pays 50% more coins. Finding caches on 5, 10, 15… farm days in a row adds 40 coins. Blueprints for 🎨 Design arrive at 5, 12, 20, 35, 55 and 80 finds, and when you've collected every kind of trade item.

| 15 | Trailblazer | A better compass: warmer and colder from much farther away |
| 25 | Navigator | A trowel: a quarter more coins from every cache, and a second hide |
| 40 | Wayfinder | A flashlight: night caches can be found by day, and glow from farther at night |
| 60 | Cache Master | A second trackable slot, and a third hide |

Trade items and trackables
Bigger caches hold small trade items: a pressed-lavender token, a glass marble, a tiny toy tractor, a farm pin, a bee sticker, a painted feather, a wooden nickel, a painted stone, a bicycle basket charm or a sew-on trail patch. Take one and the game leaves something of yours in its place.
Trackables are tagged travelers you carry from cache to cache: Buzz the Travel Bee wants to visit 5 different farms, The Little Blue Boat wants to reach a cache beside a pond, and The Muddy Boot Tag wants to travel 300 miles. When one reaches its goal you get 150 coins and 80 XP, and it keeps traveling.
Hiding your own
From Pathfinder rank, open 📒 Cache Log → 🏡 My hides and choose 📦 Hide one where I'm standing. Pick a size, a hint and a trade item from the lists. Visitors to your farm will look for it, and it shows in your visits when someone finds it.
