Where it shows
- Huckleberry says card beside the farm clock, with a Go button and “or ask the farm a question”.
- A Your next step line under the hub and area tabs.
- A smaller Next step line inside the Lavender Field's tool belt.
- The weekly report's Your decision for next week.
How the game picks it
It checks these in order and shows the first that applies:

| 7 | Weak plots (under 40%) that are all resting for winter | 🌧️ Don't water now; advance the week |
| 8 | Weak plots (under 40% health) | 🔎 Inspect them |
| 9 | A hard freeze today (28°F or below) | ❄️ Planting and watering wait for a thaw |
| 10 | Empty plots but planting is paused | 🗓️ Advance the week |
| 11 | Empty plots and a hard frost due this week | 🧊 Hold off planting |
| 12 | Empty plots | 🌱 Plant them |
| 13 | Anything else | ⏭️ Advance the week and let it grow |
The button
The button jumps to the right place, switches to the right tool, highlights the plots involved for about nine seconds and scrolls the first into view. For Advance week it uses the field's own Advance week button.
Caution notes
When the next step is a caution (a freeze, low energy, a closed planting window), a ⚠️ Right now: note also appears under the companion guide card, so the two never disagree.
Shortcut chips
The next-step area also offers shortcuts: the 3D farm, your current order, your crew, the Almanac and a Farm ambience on/off switch.
