Nursery Propagation

In Operations → Nursery you take lavender cuttings in 20- or 72-cell trays. With good moisture and a greenhouse they root in a few weeks into saleable plants.

🎮 Play it in the game

Start a batch

  1. Own a propagation greenhouse (map Greenhouse, Operations Infrastructure or a Supply Yard kit).
  2. Choose a cultivar, a tray (20-cell deep tray or 72-cell plug tray) and a moisture strategy.
  3. Press Take cuttings. Cost: 0.7 coins per cell (14 coins for 20 cells, 50 for 72). +5 XP.

How a batch grows

  • Starts at 65% health (78% with a Controlled Mist Bench).
  • Each week adds a bonus: Mist Bench +8, Propagation Lighting +5 and each Nursery Technician +5, divided by 5.
  • A batch needs at least 3 weeks (longer for slow-rooting cultivars). Stages: fresh cuttings → callusing → rooted, or "at risk" below 35% health.
  • When finished at 45%+ health, rooted plants = cells × health %. They go into Saleable nursery inventory. Batches that end below 45% fail.
  • You can discard a batch at any time.

Uses for rooted plants

  • Wholesale contracts for rooted plants.
  • The Farm Life Heritage Greenhouse bundle (12 rooted plants).
  • Greenhouse bays can also finish plants as rooted nursery stock.

Tips

  • Always choose "Moist, aerated medium": the other two lose health every week.
  • Add a mist bench and lights from Infrastructure to raise health faster.
