Overview
Play Together is the live, real-time side of the game. One player starts a party and becomes the host (marked with a 👑). Friends join, and everyone appears on the host's farm in 3D, walking and driving around together. When the host takes a trip to another farm, the whole party can follow.
Parties hold up to 10 players: you and up to 9 friends or guildmates. Guests only look around the host's farm. The host's game shares a copy of its layout, and nothing guests do is saved to anyone's farm, unless the host turns on Work together (see below).
Start or join a party
- Open the 3D farm and choose 👥 Play together from the menu.
- Tap 👥 Start a party. You get a 4-letter party code, like ABCD.
- Share the code, or tap 🔗 Copy invite link and send the link. A link opens the party straight away for your friend.
- To join someone else, type their 4 letters under Join with a code and tap Join.
- Guildmates who are online show up in the panel under 🛡️ Guildmates online. Tap 💌 Invite to invite one, or Join them if they already have a party.
What you can do together
- Walk and drive around the same farm. Each player has a name tag over their head. On very big parties, players far across the farm are not drawn, to keep phones smooth.
- Travel together. When the host heads to another farm, you get a message. Open the panel and tap 🚚 Go too. When the host is home again, tap 🏡 Go to the host's farm.
- Chat with quick messages, emotes and typed messages. See Live Chat.
- Wave and cheer. The 👋 Wave and 🙌 Cheer buttons play an animation on your farmer that everyone sees.
- Help on the host's farm with watering or harvesting, if the host allows it. See Work Together.
- Play party games at the County Fair: Bale Blitz party matches, Barnyard Hide & Seek, fishing on one pontoon, and Lavender Circuit on the giant board. See Party Games.
Managing the party
- The party pill at the top shows the code, how many members are online (for example 3/4), and a 💬 count of unread chat.
- Each member's row has 🔇 Mute and 🚩 Report buttons. The host also has Remove.
- If someone loses connection, their row says ⏳ reconnecting and the game keeps trying to bring them back.
- Tap Leave the party to go back to playing on your own.
Tips
- Join a Grower Guild first: guildmates who are online are the easiest people to invite.
- The same panel also sets up TV mode, where phones become controllers for a big screen.
