Overview
Friends in your party can pitch in on your farm. As the host, you choose what guests may help with under 🤝 Work together: 💧 Watering (on to start) and ✂️ Harvesting (off until you turn it on).
When a guest waters or harvests a plant, your own game does the job exactly as if you had done it, so every farm rule still applies and a harvest lands in your barn. For a harvest, you still pick how it is used. Everyone sees the rows update as the work gets done.
How guests help
- Join the host's party and go to their farm.
- Walk up to a plant and use the water or harvest tool.
- Your farmer leans in or bends down, and the job is sent to the host's game.
- A message tells you how it went, for example “You watered Hidcote: moisture 41% → 70%”.
What guests cannot do
- Planting and clearing are always up to the host.
- The Inspect tool still works: it shows the plant's health, moisture and stage (out of 5) without changing anything.
- Only one job at a time: wait for the last one to finish before starting another.
Why a job might not work
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| Nothing changed | The plant did not need that right now. |
| The host decided it can wait | The host chose not to harvest it yet. |
| The host's harvest basket is full | The host needs to unload first. |
| The host has turned off help with that | That job is switched off in Work together. |
| The host is away from their farm | The host is not on their own farm right now. |
| Easy there: a few jobs at a time | Too many jobs too fast. |
Rewards
Each job that works earns the helper +2 XP on their own farm, up to 40 XP a day. The host's panel counts how many jobs guests have helped with.
