How payroll works
- When you press Advance Week, staff × 45 coins is paid.
- If you cannot pay it all, the farm pays what it can and the ledger notes the shortfall.
- The ledger reads: 'Weekly payroll: 🪙90. Wages remain due during poor weather and slow sales.'
The Farm Store needs staff
Upgrading a farm stand into a staffed Farm Store needs at least one sales staff. If you release your last staff member, the store goes back to a self-serve stand.
Tips
- Two people (you plus one staff) can attend a festival and a farmers market in the same week.
- Sales staff are separate from Enterprise specialists and Operations crew.
