Making a backup
- Open More tools and choose Save a backup (“Download a copy of your farm”). The same export is in Records.
- Choose Download privacy-safe backup or Download full private backup.
- Your browser downloads a .json file. Keep it somewhere safe.
The two kinds

Loading a backup
- Use Import in Records and pick your save file.
- Files larger than 2 MB are refused for safety.
- Importing replaces the farm in this browser.
Other button states
The same button can also show the app's install or update status: Install Lavender Sim for offline play, Update ready, or an offline note. When none of those apply, it downloads your backup.
