About the Product

Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium). A traditional herb with ferny, aromatic leaves and sprays of small white daisies.

  • Flower color: small daisies about 3/4 inch across with white rays and yellow button centers
  • Foliage: fern-like, lobed green leaves with a strong scent
  • Growth habit: erect, clumping, mounding
  • Mature size: 12-36 in. tall × 12-24 in. wide
  • USDA hardiness: 5a–8b
  • Life cycle: Short-lived perennial that self-seeds. Kansas State field trials saw very poor winter survival, so individual plants may not return. Seedlings usually replace them.
  • Bloom start: Late June
  • Water needs: moderate
