Huckleberry Lavender Seeds - Lavandula angustifolia

Want to grow a little lavender field of your own? Every one of our rows started small, too.

These Huckleberry Lavender Seeds are an English lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) for home gardeners who love a project. A heads-up: lavender seeds are slow and irregular to germinate, so patience is part of the fun. Many growers find that cold stratifying the seeds, keeping them cool and slightly moist in the fridge for a few weeks before sowing, can help encourage sprouting, though results always vary.

• Size: 25 seeds
• Sow on the surface of a light seed-starting mix and press in gently
• Keep evenly moist, warm and bright, and give seedlings plenty of time
• Transplant to a sunny, well-drained spot once plants are established

Shared from grower to grower, from our family lavender farm in Rockford, Michigan.
