Why this pairing works

Tonic's gentle bitterness and fizz make cold brew taste bright instead of heavy. Cherry coffee and lavender syrup soften the tonic's edge, so every sip tastes like a summer soda with a caffeine kick.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Stir the coffee and cold water together in a large jar. Cover and refrigerate 12 to 18 hours.
  2. Strain through a fine sieve lined with a paper coffee filter.
  3. For each drink, fill a glass with ice. Add 2 tsp simple syrup and 1/2 cup tonic water.
  4. Slowly pour 1/3 cup cold brew over the back of a spoon so it floats on top.
  5. Garnish with a cherry on a lavender pick. Stir before sipping.

Serve it with: Lavender Scone (Blueberry)

Make it your own
