Why this pairing works

The crust blends into buttery, cookie-like bits, and tart cherry filling keeps the vanilla ice cream from tasting too rich. A spoonful of lavender syrup ties the pie and shake together.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Blend the ice cream, milk and simple syrup until just smooth. Add a splash more milk if the blender stalls.
  2. Add the pie chunks and pulse 3 or 4 times, just until the pie is in small bits.
  3. Pour into 2 tall glasses, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of Lavender Sugar.

Make it your own

  • Use a Peach or Blueberry Lavender Small Pie instead.
  • Top with a fresh sweet cherry, stem and all.
